Chad Rice owns CR Shades LLC and personally works on all the aluminum product installations. This project was a year or more in the planning. It combines the Alumawood solid panels on two sides with the lattice in the center. This was installed in Chad's backyard.
The unusual and difficult part was setting the flat pans at an angle instead of the usual straight slope they are designed for. The other complexity involved hiding the slopes behind the beams. There is a slope from the center lattice area to the gutter on both sides of the awning. From there the slope, hid behind the beam, goes the length of the awning to the downspouts at the ends.
I have installed and sold this product for many years but would never have come up with a design like this.
This photo shows how nicely Chad has extended his patio area. The lattice in the center area allows for sunlight to filter into the area.
The panels set at an angle give the cover a one of a kind look.
Here you can see the downspout attached to the awning to direct the water off the end of the patio.
Partial sunlight for a garden area can be created using Alumawood Lattice. A custom design also adds some elegance to the yard.
This outdoor cooking area is greatly enhanced by some creative design and expert installation. This cover makes use of both the solid and the lattice type roofing systems.
A custom lattice design for this pool side patio flows nicely with shape of the pool.
Give us a call and let Chad go to work for you with a custom Alumwood design and installation.
