I am looking for 3 pieces of bottom railing for our above ground pool. Our pool is an 18' x 33' oval, approx 12 yrs old. I believe it was an Allegro pool.
Do you know how I can find these rails? We are out of the pool business without them. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Jan.
The Allegro pool was manufactured by Aqua Leader, a company owned by Wilbar International. Your first choice would be to google Aqua Leader + your state to find a pool dealer near you that sells these pools. They should be able to order parts for you.
Another option is to go to the site listed on this page.
They sell parts for the Asahi pools but bottom rails can be very interchangeable and the ones in this store would probably work. The rails you are looking for are most likely 1". If they are on the round end of the pool, buying the 1" rails for an 18' pool would be the way to go. They may fit the connector plate just right or they may not. The foot plate can be easily modified to accept the rail. Every size of round pool has a different arc in their bottom rails and the round ends of your pool should match very closely to the 18' rails. The exact length is not critical. The rail can be cut to length with a hacksaw if needed or a little extra gap can be left in the footplates if it is to short.
More information about finding pool parts can be found on these pages.
