Moving Pool With Walk Around Deck

Hi, we are getting my parents pool that they bought from National Pool and Spa in 2001....We do not know what kind of pool it is called...all that my mother was given information wise was that it is constructed of Extruded aluminum, (possibly a vogue pool which I found out when I called National Pool and Spa, but they have no record of it)... 1 sea isle ... 31 x 27 OD ... 24' round swim area .. 18' OD patio deck ... all alum. walk around deck ... all alum. safety fence with privacy panels .. alum. floating side walls ... all acrylic finish with stain and fade resistance ... in wall skimmer ... 20 mil form filling in ground pool liner with mildew resistant and fun protection ... 3/4 HPCR Haywood space age filter ....

There were no instructions on constructing the pool since the installers put it in and we have no idea what we need to do to prepare the site or how to install it....

I have tried calling some local pool companies, but they won't touch it since it is not their pool and they say that it is a pain in the butt to put up because of the walk around deck that is attached to it....Any help you can give me is much appreciated.

Hi Rikki. It sounds like a pool with small interlocking sidewall panels instead of a continuous roll wall. If so, they are much more difficult.

The walk around deck makes it a lot more work. Interlocking wall panels make it a lot more difficult and a lot more work. I can understand most installers not wanting to touch it.

The best advice I could give you is to take lots of pictures. Take plenty of before shots and plenty more of every phase of taking it apart.

With pictures, I could offer a lot more advice and be of some help when it comes time to reinstall it.
