A little pool shade is important to get the most enjoyment from your backyard swimming experience. Some inexpensive ideas are canopies, shade sails, covered baby floats and even a properly placed umbrella.

More expensive shade for your pool could be some nice Aluma Lattice, a retractable awning or an aluminum awning. Dome and shade screen structures also offer protection from the sun. The pool below was built first and then the deck, screen room and awning were built around it. This gives maximum pool shade and a lot of protection from bugs and other elements.
