Liner Installation Price

What should I expect to pay to have a 24 foot round new liner installed, its a beaded liner so you don't have to remove the top rails. I have the new liner.

Hi Gene.

My price for that size liner installation is $475.00. I'm sure the price will vary depending on how many pool contractors there are in your area that work on above ground pools.

I would call every pool store within a hundred miles or so and try to get some different quotes. Since beaded liners can be a little tricky to get the wrinkles out of, try to find someone that has some experience with this type liner. Whoever does the job, make sure it is done on a warm sunny day. That will give you far better results than a cool cloudy day.

Estimate to Repair Liner and Pump

What would be the estimated cost for a contractor to reinstall a 28' x 48" above ground pool liner and install a new sand filter?

Our neighbors rotted tree fell on the pool and I need an estimate to tell him.

Prices for a 28' round liner start at about $425 and will go as high as possibly $800. A 20 gauge Swimline liner purchased online will be the cheapest while a Doughboy brand 25 mil liner will be the most expensive. The pool size would indicate to me it's probably a Doughboy brand pool so you may want to insist on an original replacement liner.

Installation costs will vary but if I were bidding it the labor would be about five hundred dollars. That would be for a flat bottom installation, pools with deep ends run several hundred dollars more.

Filter prices will vary also so you will want to get an estimate for a comparable system to what you have. You are probably looking at about four hundred dollars for a filter and pump combination.
