Asahi Pool Parts

I need to find rails for a 24' round Asahi pool. It is labeled as a 6" steel pool and the sku is #1624 (5/8" rails) on the Asahi pool parts website. I e-mailed them because the order form says they are out of stock but I didn't get a reply. Does anyone know where I can order them? Thanks

Hi Donna

There might be something on one of these pages that would help.

Is there any way I can find out what type of pool I have from the base plate? It has a number on it and I would like to know what it means. The number is T2990.

Base Plate T2990

by: Kristen

Hi Katie, My husband and I bought a used pool and needed a base plate and it was showing T2990 as well, I ended up finding this site teddybearpools.com and they had these plates. I'm assuming since this place carries Johnny Weissmuller and Ether Williams pool parts that the pool I have is either one of them, hope this helps and gets you in the right direction.

Need A Part For The Top Plate

by Ida
(Maine)

The post and plate are one piece. You hook the post to the bottom of the pool and put it up to the pool side. The piece I need goes into the plate and you screw it on and then add your rail. The next to the last picture is the top of the post with the clip in it. The last picture is a side view of the post without the part in it. If I could get four of these, top picture, it would be great or I would take what I could get. Thank You

Rusted Sidewall

by Gregg
(Maine)

Pool Wall Exterior

Pool Wall Exterior

My wife's grandfather purchased a pool about 10 years ago to replace the wall in his existing pool. (Cheaper than buying a new wall)

He recently gave us the "new" pool (base, posts, top rail, etc) and the wall that he used in his pool. There is some rust around the bottom and the skimmer area. (Photos attached)

When I assemble the pool I was considering turning the wall over so the rusted part was on the top and using duct tape on any rough edges. I plan on cutting a new skimmer hole and patching over the old one. Should I do this or just put the pool up as is, reinforce the bottom and repair the skimmer opening.

Gregg

Hi Gregg.

None of it looks that bad, I would just clean it up and reinforce it.

Morada Option III

by Jackie

Hi. My water level was too high during the winter season and as a result my top rails are rusted, some of the rim of the pool is starting to rust. The pool is three years old. It is a Wil-Bar 24' x 52" Morada Option III swimming pool. Any suggestions as to what I can do to either repair or replace them?

Thank you for any suggestions. I can send pictures tomorrow if needed.

Metal Stablize Rails All Rusted.

by Sherri
(Oshawa Ontario)

This winter left me a pool with 6 inches of water in it. I am planning on replacing the liner in a couple of weeks once I have ordered all that I need. First challenge has been getting more caps as the sun has left them brittle. I was able to find almost a fit but we will need to screw them in rather then just snap on. I have no idea the model of my pool which is now 12 years old. Second challenge is the metal stabilize rails are all rusted and will not be reusable. The rust has been falling into the pool for several years. I am unable to find replacements for this on the internet. I know that sounds strange but it just gives me the coping plastic ones to hold the liner in place. I understand I need the metal ones to hold that on. Is this the case? Why they are not for sale is beyond me. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you, Sherri

Hi Sherri

The stabilizer rods are not universal, there are many varieties, sizes and shapes. On this site are links to a lot of stores selling parts for varies pools. You would need to follow some of these leads and find a dealer that can find something close to what you have.

Symphony Series Upright Clip

by Ray Heil
(Cincinnati, OH)

I have a symphony series 8008 above ground pool, I have been removing rust out of my pool for the last 2 years, which ruined my liner. Was in the process of replacing the liner when I found out that all of the upright clips are all rusted out. Now I cannot find any to replace them. Where can I find the upright clips so I can replace them and get my pool put back together?
